High detail of monsters of my choice, practicing on light and shadow as well as texture. All of these pieces were created for an art exhibition.
Here is the dragon, a combination of turtle, the prehistoric Helicoprion shark and lots of teeth to fill those jaws.
The Hippocampus, my version is a combination of seahorse, jellyfish, nautilus, and octopus.
The Wendigo here is designed a little differently, in that I wanted it to look more monster-like than a simple starving human.
